As
many as 62 % of the participants said google are their recommended
route to find products while 66 % participants select on the internet
market segments and 62 % select retailers’ web sites for the actual
buying. Russian federation (78 percent), China and the US (76
percent) are the top market segments for on the internet industry
buys while Sydney (81 percent), England (72 percent) and North
America (71 percent) are the most likely market segments to utilize
retailers’ own sites for buying, said a declaration introducing the
survey results.
“In
today’s international industry, e-commerce is continuing to connect
the world’s financial systems in new ways, making it possible for
manufacturers to sell, contend and increase their impact,” said
Lila Snyder, chief executive, international e-commerce, in the
declaration. Nearly a quarter of the people interviewed recommended
cellular phones to make on the internet buys. England (37 percent)
leads in buying through cellular phones, followed by Indian (36
percent), China (34 percent) and the US (29 percent).
Just
like social networking, on the internet buying through cellular phone
is again popular with millennials (33 percent). However, the biggest
limitations for on the internet purchasing adopting are high shipping
costs (64 percent), late distribution (39 percent) and late charges
due during distribution (48 percent). Another area of concern
stopping on the internet purchasing is product return policies and
processes (33 percent), the declaration said.
Indian
again brings (46 percent) in product return issues, followed by
Malaysia (44 percent) and the US (39 percent). Negative feedback from
customers, scores and reviews is another key area stopping on the
internet purchasing — with 31 % of the internet buyers taking them
seriously.
Indian
internet buyers rank on top when it comes to purchasing items from
public press websites, according to international technology company
Pitney Bowes’ second annual Global On the internet Shopping
Research.
As
many as 27 % of the people interviewed in Indian said they would
consider purchasing items on public networking, followed by South
America (15 percent) and Russian federation (14 percent), the
research revealed.
In a
survey of 12,000 adults from 12 countries, the research found that
google lead in helping internet buyers find items, online market
segments and retailer web websites for purchasing while mobile and
public networking are gaining traction.
